Portfolio series oil pastels have a creamy texture. The bright primary and secondary colors blend into a broad expanded pallette. Intersting watercolor effects can be achieved by wetting the paper before applying the pastels. They can also be dipped in water and used as paint sticks or blended after being applied dry with a wet brush.
